What the QNFO sites collect
QNFO is one researcher, Rowan Brad Quni-Gudzinas, who is responsible for these sites and for this notice. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.
Visit statistics
Pages load Google Analytics 4 (property G-LV7RHRVW6R), which sets cookies and counts visits, pages and referrers. Cloudflare, which hosts the sites, may also add its Web Analytics beacon, which uses no cookies. When a link carries campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, as links in our posts and digests do), the site counts that page load by day, page, tag values, country and whether the visitor is an automated preview, with no cookie, network address or browser details. These figures are used only to see which pages people read and which posts brought them.
Email digest
If you subscribe, your email address is stored to send the weekly digest. You confirm by email first, and every digest has an unsubscribe link that removes you. Digest emails carry no tracking pixels.
Ask the corpus
Questions you ask and the ratings you give are stored with the answer, without your network address, to measure and improve the answers. A question the papers cannot answer may be added, with no identifier, to the research idea queue that decides what to study next.
iPatent
Your invention text is sent to the drafting model and is not kept unless you tick the box to keep a private copy. A one-way hash of your network address is stored to enforce the daily drafting limit.
Email to the author
Mail you send to rowan.quni@qnfo.org is kept to answer it, and the subject tag of a work-with-me email is counted to measure contacts.
Your rights
To see, correct or delete what is held about you, email rowan.quni@qnfo.org. q08.org is a separate publication with its own practices and is not covered here.
